The Princess of Wales takes her duties very seriously, even amid the countless attacks aimed at the Royal Family from the Sussex camp.
We saw firsthand how easily she brushed off Omid Scobie naming her as one of the racist royals to host her Together at Christmas concert, which happened a very few days after the book was released and conversations ignited.
If that’s not enough to tell you that the Princess is made of sterner stuff, nothing will.
The Princess of Wales Has The Long-term Interests Of The Royal Family At Heart, Claims Expert
There’s a reason the Princess of Wales has not only earned her millions of fans, but have kept them over the years, and it’s that she knows where her heart lies.
After the many forms of attacks that have emerged from the Sussex couple this past few years, she’s finally looking forward to closing that chapter of her life and forging on.
“She’s moved on and William has too,” a friend of Kate’s tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue. “She’s very focused on what matters going forward. They aren’t looking back.”
In Jan, the Princess of Wales will celebrate her 42nd birthday. This time will mark two important things for her: Harry’s “Spare” will be a year old and it’ll be her first full calendar year as the Princess of Wales – a title that she picked up from her equally famous late mother-in-law.
“She takes things seriously — and thank goodness for that,” a source close to the Royal Family revealed, per PEOPLE.
She was also praised for being a major player in the modern monarchy by Simon Lewis, former Buckingham Palace communications chief and cohost of the BBC podcast When It Hits the Fan.
He said: “She’s very much seen as a player at the center of team Windsor.”
While she may not be the wild and charismatic type, her surefooted confidence has allowed her to oversee the successful launch of her Shaping Us campaign.
“She is carving out a special place for herself, which is celebratory,” royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith told PEOPLE of the Christmas carol service, where Princess Kate honored carers and service providers and shone a special light on her Early Years foundation.
