Japan’s ‘Baba Vanga’ predicts major disaster to happen in just three months time

A woman in Japan, often called the country’s version of “Baba Vanga,” is gaining a lot of attention for her ability to predict future disasters. Now, she has issued a new warning about a major catastrophe that she believes could happen in just three months.

Her name is Ryo Tatsuki. She’s a 70-year-old former manga artist who says she’s been having prophetic dreams since the 1980s. Over the years, many people have come to believe in her abilities because several of her past predictions appear to have come true. This has caused a fresh wave of interest in her older works, especially her book titled The Future I Saw, where she recorded her dreams and visions of the future.

One of the predictions people often talk about is her supposed vision of Freddie Mercury’s death in 1991. She also reportedly foresaw the tragic Kobe earthquake in 1995, which killed around 6,500 people. In her diary, she had written a strange line: “The earth cracks in Kobe, 15 days or 15 years later.” Looking back, many believe this was a reference to the disaster.

Some of her supporters even believe she predicted the COVID-19 outbreak. In a note from 1995, she apparently wrote something like: “In 25 years, an unknown virus will come in 2020, will disappear after peaking in April, and appear again 10 years later.” That prediction has left people wondering if she might have truly foreseen the pandemic.

She is also said to have predicted the massive tsunami that hit Japan in 2011, which caused the deaths of nearly 20,000 people. Now, her latest dream is making headlines. In this vision, she saw the ocean “boiling” to the south of Japan. Her followers believe this could point to an underwater volcanic eruption strong enough to trigger a giant tsunami.

According to her description, the area that might be affected is shaped like a diamond. It could include Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, and the Northern Mariana Islands. In her dream, she also saw strange “dragon-like shapes” heading toward Hawaii, which added to the sense of mystery and fear around her prediction.

Tatsuki officially retired in 2020, saying it was like her “own funeral” a reference she had written about years earlier, which her fans now think symbolized the end of her career as a manga artist. People call her the “Baba Vanga of Japan” because of her reputation for predicting future events, similar to the Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga, who is said to have foreseen things like World War II, the 9/11 attacks, and even the effects of climate change.

There’s also Nostradamus, the famous 16th-century astrologer, whose writings are still being debated today. Some believe he predicted events that are happening now, while others argue that his words are so vague they can be interpreted in many ways.

So, will Ryo Tatsuki’s latest prediction actually come true? No one can say for sure. But given her track record, some people think her warnings might be worth taking seriously.
