Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wholesome family photo for Christmas is making headlines but, apparently, the royal couple is not too happy about it.
Over the years, Prince William and Princess Kate’s photos for Christmas have been significant milestones, as followers of the royal couple watched their family grow.
From little George‘s first-ever Christmas snaps in 2013, to now the family of five marking beautiful memories every year, Christmas photos stand as one of the most cherished traditions of the royal family that followers wait for every year.
Fans on Instagram were surprised to see Kate Middleton and Prince William’s 2023 Christmas card, where the royal couple happily poses with sons George, Louis and daughter Charlotte. All the members of the family have chic, semi-formal looks, where two sons don trousers with white shirts while Princess Kate and Charlotte wear jeans.
However, some followers noticed strange details in the photo. Users commented that the edit and angle of the snap made it look like Prince Louis was missing a finger. Moreover, one user wrote, “There’s an extra leg in this picture!!!! How did the photographer not notice?? Omg!”
As always, the 41-year-old heir apparent to the British throne and his wife Kate have not made comments on the mixed reactions to the Christmas photo, but a source close to the couple claims that they are feeling ’embarrassed.’
The holiday season is generally packed with schedules for the royal members who need to make appearances at several places. The couple is seen attending their scheduled events as per the norm. They visited The “Together At Christmas” Carol Service at Westminster Abbey on December 08, 2023, in London, England but insiders say that the reactions to the photo have not gone unnoticed by them.
They “were as shocked as everyone else” by the outpouring of reactions to the photo, says the source.
