Kent Moyer, president of Beverly Hills based World Protection Group, has warned Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be extremely high risk of a terrorist attack as Israel’s war against Hamas rages on in Gaza.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have turned themselves into “sitting ducks” for a terrorist attack, a top security chief warned yesterday.
Kent Moyer, president of the elite Beverly Hills based World Protection Group, says the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could now be at “extremely high risk” as a result of Israel’s war on Hamas in Gaza
He said: “They have made a series of missteps regarding personal security since they’ve been in America and no longer have round-the-clock cover from Scotland Yard’s Royal Protection Squad like the rest of his family in England.
“And, worse, Harry effectively painted a target on his and his family’s backs when he boasted in his book Spare about how many Taliban fighters he killed while serving in Afghanistan.”
Mr Moyer’s warning to the royal couple – who live with their children Prince Archie, four, and two-year-old Princess Lilibet in Montecito, California – follows a similar warning from FBI Director Christopher Wray’s to Congress.
This week, Wray warned that the conflict could trigger acts of terrorism on US soil “similar to those posed by Isis in years past”, adding: “It is a time to be concerned. We are in a dangerous period.”
Security chief Mr. Moyer urged all celebrities and other “potential targets” – including the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – to beef-up their personal protection as well as liaising with local police and the FBI.
Mr. Moyer, whose clients include eleven billionaires and an entire NFL team, said: “Prince Harry upset a lot of people less than a year ago when he wrote about killing 25 Taliban fighters during his military service and he and Meghan have had other security setbacks in the recent past.

“They switched firms at one stage after a number of incursions on their estate in Montecito.
“And then they were involved in farcical scenes in New York, when they claimed to have been chased by paparazzi but did appear to be very exposed, with no one certain what to do or where to go. Similar lapses could be disastrous now.”
“They have already turned themselves into sitting ducks as a result of previous errors of judgement but should now realize they are at extremely high risk and should act accordingly.
Fearful Hollywood stars and other VIPs are already sparking such a huge demand for enhanced, military-style protection that US security firms are racing to recruit highly-trained new guards.
“High-profile Jewish and non-Jewish clients are asking for more guards and they are asking for them all to be armed and available to work round the clock, including ‘graveyard’ shifts,” said Mr.Moyer.
His firm has added six former military and police personnel to its ranks since the October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas and he added: “We’ve been on a hiring rampage. Obviously, people are very scared.”
Kenneth Bombace, head of LA agency Global Threat Solutions, said that as well as supplying clients with additional guards since the Oct 7 attacks, corporations are also requesting help bringing employees back from war zones.
“We have former Special Ops personnel that have that skill,” he went on. “Sometimes you might be forced to use ground transportation rather than fly. But there are ways to do it.”
