Terrifying incident took place on Halesowen Road in Cradley Heath, where a woman in her 70s endured a harrowing ordeal. During the incident on May 9 at approximately 2.45 pm, the woman’s car was stolen, and she was subjected to threats with an axe and dragged along the road.

Despite the traumatic experience of being pushed from her vehicle, the victim fortunately did not sustain serious injuries. In response to the incident, authorities from West Midlands Police have released an image of a man who might possess crucial information regarding the event. The police shared details of the incident on social media.

A spokesperson from West Midlands Police stated, “We are seeking to speak with this individual after an elderly person was threatened with an axe and dragged along the road during the theft of her car in Sandwell.
