They were mocked, and Harry’s revelations in Spare were often unwise and were also laughed at.
Notably, Prince Harry, in an interview with The Telegraph shortly after the release of Spare, hinted at the possibility of another book. He claimed to have enough material for a second book, raising the specter of further revelations about his relationships with his brother, Prince William, and his father, Prince Charles.
Harry admitted, “There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don’t want the world to know. Because I don’t think they would ever forgive me.
Fitzwilliams warned against this potential path, emphasizing that such a move would only reinforce the perception that the couple’s livelihood depends on continually criticizing the Royal Family. He asserted, “Their brand would become toxic. Obviously, they would have no future relationship with the Royal Family if they went down this lucrative but poisonous path.”
