Prince William is reportedly losing patience with his brother Harry and sister-in-law Meghan amidst the ongoing race row controversy sparked by Omid Scobie’s new book.
According to a report by Express, William is demanding action from King Charles as Conservative MP Bob Seely calls for urgent steps to strip the Sussexes of their titles.
Seely aims to revive laws from the First World War that could pave the way for Harry and Meghan to become plain Mr. and Mrs. Sussex. This comes after Scobie’s book Endgame unleashed scathing attacks and bombshell claims against the royals, accusing two senior members of the family of racism in discussions about Archie’s skin color.
Royal insiders claim William has always been wary of Harry and Meghan’s motives since they stepped down as senior working royals. A source said, “William was always worried about their intentions and believed they were focused on their personal agenda rather than duty and service.”
The Duke of Cambridge is said to be livid over the recent race row as it has engulfed the family in controversy once again. An insider revealed, “William feels let down by his brother’s continued attacks and believes decisive action needs to be taken to protect the future of the monarchy.”
Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan have maintained silence over Scobie’s book, neither confirming nor denying the incendiary claims made against William, Kate and other royals. This had led to accusations of hypocrisy as the Sussexes fail to address the racism allegations head-on despite championing social justice causes.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams slammed the couple’s silence as “totally unsatisfactory” and questioned when they would finally speak up over the “grotesque Scobie error.” He pointed out, “Anything they do gives oxygen to this poison, to do nothing means it sticks.”
PR advisor Laura Perkes also urged Harry to let go of hopes for a royal reconciliation, asserting that things “may never be the same again” after the damage inflicted by Endgame. She emphasized the need for Harry to accept reality and move on for his own good.
As the royals brace for Charles’ coronation in May, there are worries the Sussex drama could overshadow preparations. But insiders assert the family will rise above it, with a source saying, “recent events will show the royals at their very best.”
King Charles appears intent on steering the monarchy forward despite the turbulence, focusing on service to the nation as he faces his biggest challenge yet as sovereign. With William’s backing, decisive action on stripping titles could help limit the Sussexes’ ability to keep hurting the family from afar.
