British royal family news reveals that The Heritage Foundation is not giving up on its fight to access Prince Harry’s visa records after he bragged about being a drug user.
That kind of admission would have endangered his US visa, and the think tank wants to find out if the Biden administration dropped the ball and gave Harry a free pass into the US.
To this end the group demands that the Department of Homeland Security reveal if the Duke of Sussex lied about his past drug use on his immigration forms.
Harry has boasted about using cocaine, cannabis, magic mushrooms, and ayahuasca, and such activity could have kept him out of the country.
The Heritage Foundation maintains that if Harry did not lie on his paperwork, then he was given preferential treatment by government officials.
Significantly, if it’s found out that Harry lied, his visa could be revoked; some experts suggested he would also be criminally convicted.
This issue is headed for a confrontation on February 23, when the Department for Homeland Security argues that the lawsuit should be thrown out.
Judge Carl J. Nichols will hear evidence that day and a court document declares “It is hereby ordered that the parties shall appear in-person for oral argument on the motions before Judge Carl J. Nichols in Courtroom 17 on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 2:30 p.m.”
The think tank lawyers state that the case against Harry is relevant because he bragged about “habitual, adult, and recreational illegal drug use” in his autobiography Spare.
Commenters were quick to respond to the developing case with one saying “Either way Homeland Security deliberately defied it’s own policies. If he admitted it, why let him in. If he denied it, then he was untruthful … Harry is not special. He is no different than others … he certainly put the rope around his own neck. The issue is bigger than a disgraced and shabby prince. Everyone should be equal under the policy.”
Another person doubled down on this sentiment writing “Harry should not be treated differently. Yes let’s hope sanity prevails and we eventually find out.”
Now it’s your turn royal fans, tell us your take on this hot topic, should Harry be treated differently than American citizens?
