Discover what King Charles did that transformed his relationship with Prince Harry. And keep reading to learn how Charles, William, Kate Middleton, and Queen Camilla have become involved in a royal power struggle.
King Charles Betrays A Son
Prince William believes that his father King Charles has betrayed him. But that sense of betrayal follows the stunning scene that occurred amid the royal family’s Christmas Day walk to St. Mary Magdalene’s church.
For the first time in three decades, 64-year-old Sarah Ferguson walked with King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Princess Kate Middleton and the rest of the royal family.
And insiders point to King Charles as the one who decided to welcome back the controversial ex-wife of Prince Andrew, per Yahoo. But the shocker comes from an insider who revealed that King Charles achieved a truce with his previously estranged son Prince Harry.
And although Harry hurt Charles in his memoir and interviews, the King “never stopped loving Harry,” said the source. But then the Duke of Sussex “reached out at the end of 2023. The father-son bond they share never went away,” added the insider. “And they were able to mend things pretty quickly — much to the surprise of some family members.”
Prince William Blindsided!
But after King Charles stunned the royal family by reconciling with Harry, Prince William felt blindsided and angry. “He’s furious,” said a source. And the insider noted that Harry “caused so much drama for the royals.”
As a result, when William learned about the reconciliation between Harry and Charles, William told his father to choose. “It’s Harry or me,” said William to King Charles.
“And Charles chose Harry. Now William can’t help but feel betrayed,” said the source. Because since stepping down as a senior member of the royal family, Harry has slammed his royal relatives in interviews, a Netflix documentary series, and of course his memoir.
But Harry also mocked his brother and father. For instance, he rudely commented on William’s “alarming” hair loss. And the Duke of Sussex described how King Charles relieved his back pain by performing handstands in his boxers. Such jabs, combined with bombshells accusing the royal family of racism, infuriated William.
Royal Power Struggle!
And with the recent reconciliation between Prince Harry and King Charles, “William warned his father that it’s only a matter of time before Harry betrays the family again,” said the source. “It seemingly fell on deaf ears, though.”
But William faces his own challenges with his desire to become king. And the insider shared, “Charles doesn’t feel pressure when talking to Harry, unlike William, who is itching to be king. They’re locked in an on-going power struggle.” And Kate Middleton faces her own power struggle with Queen Camilla, claimed the source.
“Kate’s constant conflict with Camilla, about issues big and small, infuriates Charles. It appears to have further driven him, and Camilla, toward Harry and Meghan.” As a result of Harry’s and Charles’ shocking reunion, William cancelled future official appearances.
And William just “refuses to show up. He’s also giving Charles the silent treatment as a kind of revenge. There’s a lot of tension between them at the moment,” observed the source.
But in contrast, Charles invited Harry, Meghan, his grandson Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2, “to spend time with him at Balmoral. He’s hated not being able to see and connect with his grandchildren over the past few years.”
give Meghan and Harry “new roles in the monarchy.” But he asked the couple “to stand by for the specifics. Let’s just say, William will not be happy about what’s in store. Rumor has it there’s going to be a major rearrangement of duties.” And the news leaves William “feeling beyond stressed and bitter.”
