Former Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter has expressed his belief that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will eventually regret not having good relationships with their relatives.
He emphasized that the limited contact with cousins, uncles, aunts and grandparents will have negative consequences for their children, Archie and Lilibet especially now that Megan is the one making decisions for him in many matters.
That will come back to haunt them at a certain point,” he told the Telegraph.
“They have no cousins that they see, or uncles or aunts, and they don’t see grandparents, except for one.”
Other piece of advice for Harry and Meghan
Carter also criticized their choice of Montecito, California, as location to raise their children. He described it as a monotonous place with nothing to do, referring to it as “God’s waiting room”.
“It’s a 40-minute drive from LA and there aren’t many kids there because young families can’t afford it,” he explained.
Meanwhile he offered some further advice to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which is to stay out of the public eye.
“They have too much attention,” he noted.
