The City of London Police has launched an urgent appeal to the public to identify and locate a woman allegedly involved in an appalling incident of abuse and threats directed towards a disabled person on the number 78 bus heading towards Shoreditch. The incident took place on the morning of June 21 at approximately 9:50 am
The City of London Police, through their official Twitter handle @CityPolice, shared a photograph of the woman they are seeking to speak to in connection with the alleged hate crime. The police believe that she may have vital information that could assist in their investigation.
According to eyewitness reports, the woman allegedly targeted a disabled person, subjecting them to verbal abuse and threats during the bus journey. Such behavior is considered highly unacceptable and a violation of the rights and dignity of individuals with disabilities.
They urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the woman’s identity or whereabouts to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
