Meghan Markle is reportedly in a state of panic after King Charles questioned the existence of her children Archie and Lilibet, and demanded to see them at his upcoming birthday bash.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, Charles told Meghan that he had “never met Archie or Lilibet” and that he wanted to “see them for himself” before he could believe that they were real.
The report also claims that Charles has demanded that Archie and Lilibet attend his birthday bash, which is scheduled to take place in November. Meghan is said to be reluctant to let her children attend the event, for fear that they will be subjected to further scrutiny and criticism from the royal family.
Meghan’s panic is understandable. The royal family has a long history of questioning the legitimacy of children born outside of marriage. In fact, Charles himself was once accused of not being the biological father of Prince Harry.
Meghan is also worried about the impact that the royal family’s skepticism will have on Archie and Lilibet’s mental health. She knows that children are particularly vulnerable to the effects of criticism and rejection.
The situation is complicated by the fact that Charles is now the king. This means that he has a great deal of power and influence over the royal family. If he is determined to question the existence of Archie and Lilibet, there is very little that Meghan can do to stop him.
