Student who tore eyeballs out while high on drugs Made a Shocking Confession About Her Action

Kaylee Muthart, a woman from the U.S., went through a very difficult time in her life back in 2018. While she was a student, she was using a strong drug called crystal meth.

One day, while high, she believed that she had to make a big sacrifice to save the world. She thought that if she didn’t take out her own eyes, everyone would die. So, she did just that—she tore out her own eyeballs and ended up permanently blind.

Since that terrible event, Kaylee has worked hard to change her life. She stopped using drugs, focused on her education, and got a job washing dishes at a restaurant. Even though she can’t see anymore, she’s been trying to move forward and live a better life.

Recently, she lost that dishwashing job. But she says she doesn’t regret what she did that led to her getting fired. The reason she was let go was because she kept feeding a hungry cat and her eight kittens with food from the restaurant. She was giving her own meals, the ones she earned for working her shift, to the cats. She knew she wasn’t supposed to, but felt she couldn’t just walk away each night knowing those animals were starving.

Her boss told her to stop feeding the cats, but she asked if she could slowly stop instead of cutting them off right away. Despite that, she was still fired. Kaylee said losing the job was tough, but she feels at peace with it because she was doing what felt right to her. She believes helping the animals was more important than keeping the job.

Kaylee also mentioned that her boyfriend, Alex George, is very supportive and works hard to help take care of her. Even though she’s currently without a job, she’s staying positive. She has signed up with a job placement program that helps blind people find work, and she’s also planning to go to university to continue her education. Now 27 years old, Kaylee is focused on building a better future for herself.
