Keir Starmer Confronted Over Favoring Illegal Migrants with Taxpayer Money”

The UK is currently housing around 40,000 migrants in hotels across the country—a situation that’s causing a lot of frustration. GB News host Eamonn Holmes has slammed Prime Minister Keir Starmer, saying the Labour government will never actually fix the growing migrant crisis.

The government recently admitted that these migrant hotels which are home to 38,000 people will stay open for years, even though Labour had promised to shut them down. Officials blamed “global instability” for the delay, but critics aren’t buying it.

To make matters worse, the companies hired to find and run these hotels have been making record profits. Many people accuse them of exploiting the situation just to make money.

Eamonn Holmes didn’t hold back in his criticism. He said on GB News that unless Labour gets serious and takes strong action, the crisis will drag on forever. “We’ll never get anywhere with this unless someone finally gets tough and breaks the cycle,” he said. “And let’s be honest—this government isn’t going to do it, are they?”

The government’s big plan is to build 1.5 million new homes by 2029, hoping this will reduce the need for migrant hotels. But Holmes and others argue that these homes should be for British citizens who are struggling to find affordable housing—not for asylum seekers.

“They’re saying these new houses will help stop using hotels for migrants,” Holmes said. “But that’s not what those homes were meant for in the first place!”

Political commentator Oscar Reddrop agreed, warning that if Labour keeps ignoring the concerns of ordinary Brits—especially when it comes to immigration and the shocking £5.5 million a day being spent on hotels—they could lose the next election.

“People are furious,” Reddrop said. “Hardworking Brits feel like they’ve paid into the system their whole lives but get nothing back, while millions are spent housing migrants. If this keeps up, Labour won’t last long in power.”

The situation has only gotten worse since Starmer took office. There are now 8,000 more asylum seekers in hotels than when he promised to end the practice during his campaign. The government insists their housing plan will fix things, but critics say they’re missing the point—British taxpayers want solutions that put them first.
