During TalkTV’s “Plank of the Year,” host Mike Graham led a fiery discussion with panelists Jeremy Kyle, Sir James Whale, Samar Gil, and Russell Quir. The segment was packed with sharp criticism, bold opinions, and a strong focus on three major figures—Keir Starmer, Sadiq Khan, and the BBC.
The talk began with Labour leader Keir Starmer, who was labeled the “Prime Minister of failure.” Jeremy Kyle wasted no time in sharing his thoughts: “Keir Starmer has managed to upset everyone—pensioners, veterans, farmers, and even Brexit voters. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a leader so out of touch. He’s utterly awful.”
Mike Graham chimed in with data, saying, “Over 61% of Brits now believe he’s the worst Prime Minister ever. That’s quite an achievement.” The conversation then turned to Starmer’s broken promises, with Samar Gil adding, “He’s lied to the WASPI women and betrayed farmers who trusted him. His leadership has been nothing but an embarrassment.”
The attention then shifted to Sadiq Khan, who faced harsh criticism for his record as Mayor of London. Russell Quir labeled him “shady” and argued, “He’s failed to deliver on his housing promises, raised taxes on motorists, and completely mishandled crime in the city. He’s done nothing but make life harder for Londoners.”
Samar Gil supported the sentiment, saying, “The congestion charge and ULEZ expansion are just ways to squeeze more money out of people. It’s all about revenue, not improving air quality.”
The BBC wasn’t spared either. James Whale accused the broadcaster of incompetence and bias, stating, “The BBC has grown too big to manage, and their coverage of major issues, like the conflict in Gaza, has been shockingly one-sided. They rely on figures from Hamas and ignore the real facts.”
The panel also discussed the BBC’s handling of internal scandals, with Whale adding, “The Hugh Edwards case was a disgrace. Instead of prioritizing the victims, they focused on his mental health and career. It’s just another example of how out of touch they are.”
As the show concluded, the panel named Keir Starmer the “Plank of the Year.” Jeremy Kyle summed up the sentiment, saying, “He’s not just a liar—he’s the plank of the week, month, and year. He’s completely failed as a leader.”
