Cheryl Prudham, a 34-year-old mother of 12 children, allegedly pilfered over £9,000 in change from local parking meters.
Previously embroiled in media controversies, she had also purportedly amassed over £34,000 in a year as welfare funds, earning her the moniker “Queen of Benefits.”
She drew attention when seen searching for a Mercedes near her home in Wigan, Lancashire.
Cheryl’s estranged husband, Robert Prudham, faced charges of stealing £12,886 in change from parking meters and withholding his criminal record from a recruitment firm.
Cheryl was accused of handling the stolen cash, and there was an additional accomplice, 27-year-old Jacob Undertown.
While all were accused of the same crime, none admitted guilt.
Cheryl, a part-time cleaner, had six children with two different men before having another six with her husband, Robert.
She confessed to an addiction to pregnancy, desiring one more child to increase welfare benefits.
Claiming that having children was her life’s focus, Cheryl expressed a desire for breast enhancement surgery as a personal reward.
Following her separation from Robert, Cheryl asserted a lack of interest in men, emphasizing her sole interest in having children.
