The police are investigating a robbery at Kings Mill Hospital. Someone stole bags from a locked room where the staff keep their things. The robber took car keys to a Volkswagen Polo from one of the bags and drove away with the car. The incident happened on the evening of 15th July.
Later, the bags were found in a disabled toilet nearby, but some things were missing. The stolen car was found the next day after it was in a crash with another car in Leicestershire. The person driving the stolen car ran away from the crash.
PC Mark Davies from the Kirkby Response team said they want to find the person who did this. They released a picture of a man who was in the area when it happened. The police think he might have important information to help with their investigation.
If you know the person in the picture or have any information, please call the police at 101 and mention incident number 836 from 15th July. You can also give anonymous tips to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
The hospital staff and the community are working with the police to find the suspect and make sure everyone is safe. The police are determined to catch the person responsible and bring them to justice.
