Birmingham police made a big move to stop car thieves and illegal chop shops in the city. They called it “Operation Advance.”
The police shared a video on Twitter showing the moment they raided a place they believed was involved in breaking down stolen cars for parts.
The video had tense moments as the officers confirmed that all three cars found there were stolen. They also showed a pile of broken car parts, proving that the chop shop was up to no good.
Deputy Chief Constable Scott Green appeared in the video, standing next to a stolen Land Rover and Mercedes that they found at the chop shop. PC Dan Sheasby was there too, with a stolen Audi, showing everyone what was going on inside the chop shop.
